S.T.E.A.M.

S.T.E.A.M education is the disciplinary integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. It aims to solve real-life problems and develop students into critical thinkers. At the Kindergarten stage S.T.E.A.M. lessons encourage children to try and explore a variety of inquiry based activities. Our specialist S.T.E.A.M. teacher designs lessons that are developmentally appropriate for different age groups in order for children to be exposed to and learn S.T.E.A.M.-related knowledge and develop S.T.E.A.M.-related skills through their exploration.

MUSIC

The Little Dalton music program seeks to cultivate a lifelong love of music by offering a stimulating and dynamic atmosphere where students can explore and enjoy a wide range of musical experiences. Students develop their skills and creative expression through music by learning through a variety of child-centered activities:

Students develop their musical understanding by singing, playing instruments, following rhythms, dancing to music, creating, and listening
Students enhance interpersonal abilities by engaging collaboratively in musical activities in group settings
Music is a part of everyday life as a social activity that also plays a vital function in language development

PE

Our Physical Education programme encourages students to build a love for being physically active by offering a wide range of engaging activities associated with the development of an active and healthy lifestyle. Our PE classes aim to develop gross motor skills, fine motor skills, locomotive skills as well as develop student confidence and fundamental life skills such as teamwork, collaboration and communication. In addition to exposing students to various sports and engaging students in physical related play, PE sessions offer students a diverse range of activities in order to, among others, support students to development in the areas of:

balance
agility
strength
control
coordination
spatial awareness
